Frequently Asked Questions

Do you currently have any openings?

PGP continuously accepts waiting list applications. Do not let the waiting list scare you away!  Joining the waiting list gives your child a secure place in the line of families who will be offered a classroom slot as openings become available. PLEASE NOTE: Some parents call the preschool periodically, looking/waiting to catch an open slot, however, this method is less successful because each open slot goes to the next child that is already on our waiting list.

A fully completed application along with confirmation of receipt from our staff and your $40 application fee secures a place on our waiting list. When it's your child's turn to take the next upcoming classroom opening, we will contact you and the $100 enrollment fee will be required to move into a classroom slot.

Will PGP prepare my child for kindergarten?

Yes, early childhood is an ideal time for children to develop curiosity, concentration, independence, creativity, social skills, and critical thinking habits. We take full advantage of this special opportunity to inspire learning and development.  Our teachers intentionally introduce a variety of interesting early childhood study topics to their classes year-round and your child will participate in planned activities designed to teach social, literacy, math, science, and social studies content at the preschool level. Learning and skill development occur through investigating questions, enjoying a wide variety of books, hands-on exploration, the arts, planned small group instruction, and valuable free play. Twice a year we hold parent-teacher conferences to review your child's developmental progress.

Which meals and activities are included with tuition?

Each day we serve three freshly prepared meals- breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack at no additional charge; plus we can make some accommodations for students with special dietary needs. Our all-inclusive enrichment activities include KinderSpanish classes, Summer Music Festival and year-round Musikgarten (music education) for all students.  In addition, school family invents such our School-Wide Playdate, School-Wide Campout, Family Picnic, Trunk-or-Treat, and other events are also no cost.
